(Chickpea and Potato ) Another of Grandmas.
2 taters sliced thin (like fries)
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp cumin
1 Boil your chickpeas ( you know you should never salt the water right ? good.)
2 Fry up your oil garlic and onions in a big pan.
3 Mix the curry powder with a little cold water and cook till its thick in the pan
4 Add the chopped up potatoes to the pan stir them around to coat them in curry
5 Add 1c. of water and cook until potatoes are almost tender
6 Add chickpeas
7 Cook down until mixture is all tender and thick. Add salt and hot chillis to taste
