Quickled Red Onions

1 red onion
1/4 cup vinegar

Peel, and thinly slice red onion.  For best results, halve the onion, stand the one half and begin to slice downwards, moving clockwise(or counter clockwise) around onion.

In a small pot bring vinegar to a boil.  Add onions, cover and remove from heat.  After 5 minutes stir, and move to whatever storage container you prefer.  Refrigerate.



Your onions should turn out dark pink in colour, or you did something wrong.
